Hank Ruszkowski

Henry Alexander Ruszkowski (November 10, 1925 - May 31, 2000) was a catcher in Major League Baseball who played in parts of three seasons for the Cleveland Indians (1944-1945, 1947). Listed at 6' 0", 190 lb., Ruszkowski batted and threw right handed. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio.[1]

In a three-season career, Ruszkowski was a .259 hitter (20-for-90) with three home runs and 10 runs batted in in 40 games, including two doubles and a .310 on-base percentage. He also played six Minor league seasons between 1944 and 1954, posting a .292 average and 32 homers in 298 games.[2]

Ruszkowski died in his native Cleveland at the age of 74.
